A sauna will provide the perfect quiet retreat at day's end, or will complement your fitness program in your in-home fitness center. The warm enveloping heat of a sauna, combined with the soft stream created by sprinkling water on the rocks, provides the ultimate way to reduce stress and ease aching muscles.

At Great Bay Spa & Sauna we have many different options to accommodate your specific needs and available space. Choose from our custom Great Bay Sauna Kits, Helo's Modular Saunas or an Infrared Sauna. A variety of Helo Heaters are also available including electric and Wood Burning Sauna Heaters.

The Green Impact of Helo Saunas

Great Bay Hot Tub Company and Helo takes the environment very seriously, which is why we also take great care to ensure our sauna materials come from Green Friendly sources. Our sauna woods primarily come from the U.S., Canada and Scandinavia—world leaders in timber harvest ecology.

Our products also use very little energy and are designed with the environment in mind. They are energy efficient both at holding heat and delivering the heat. The majority of our infrared saunas plug in to 120-volt household circuits and our traditional sauna heaters are available in 120-volt models (for the smallest units) to higher output energy efficient models that run on 240V household service. The typical energy use for our infrared units are $3 to $5 per month and $5 to $10 per month for our traditional saunas.

From a use standpoint, Helo traditional and infrared saunas have been proven to emit no VOC's and little or minimal EMF emissions which provides comfort and peace of mind knowing you will be releasing toxins (saunas are well known for this) rather than exposing yourself to additional toxins, which are common in our everyday lives.

Lastly, as evidence of Helo's concern for the environment and the impact our company can have globally, we have implemented the procedures and received the Lloyd's Register of London Certificate ISO-14001:2004 for our "Environmental Management Systems".
